VINTAGE THINGIES THURSDAY: Vintage Linens - a giveaway win!

Welcome to this weeks segment of Vintage Thingies Thursday. Thursday is the day to showcase your vintage treasures and to share your special things with everyone. If you are visiting and would like to join us, please do. It is very easy!

Boy...time is moving so fast, and I am not getting anything done....FIRST off....let me say, I have not dropped off the face of the earth!! Thank you to all of you who have emailed me wondering about me.....I am fine....just super busy.....but then again aren't we all?? I guess I am not doing so well at juggling things right now and need to work on my time management skills....hahahaha

I have not forgotten the fact that I have not updated on my weight loss journey......I promise that is coming soon with recipes.....hopefully next week I will be caught up some and get back to normal......

Now....I want to show you a little surprise I received in the mail. A few weeks ago, I entered a giveaway at New York Vintage Linens and was thrilled beyond compare when I received an email saying I had won. Seriously, this was right up my alley, and in two days time, I received this wonderful package of goodies!

Just look at this adorable apron, all trimmed in red and perfect for displaying during the holiday season...I just love this.

Also included was this adorable white trimmed in red table topper, or small is so pretty, I just love it. See all those pretty roses? That is a wonderful table runner, and it is ever so pretty. Included also was two pretty embroidered pillow cases....oh, happy day!

And finally, this really pretty doily......this is really a nice size and very pretty.

here is a closeup of the details.....this package was perfect for know I love red, and no question vintage linens are a passion of mine.....These goodies will be treasured for always! This sweet little manger sits under my pink Christmas tree in my sewing keeping with the spirit of the season, I wanted to be sure to include a Christmas vintage thingie!

  8. What a great win! The vintage doily is lovely. Much work went into creating that. The leaves that are in the very center and near the edge are called Cluny Leaves after a french lace from the 1870s. I'll link in later too!

    What wonderful winnings - the apron is fab, and I like the table topper best. Your nativity looks like it doesn't have any broken pieces - good for you!

  20. I'm LOVING that little red and white apron!

    Also, the little plastic nativity. I HAD one of those - - - got it when I was in grade school. For YEARS I put it out at Christmas time, it was a "tradition." Then a few years ago I looked for it, but couldn't find it. I'm afraid that in some INSANE moment I threw it out.

    Very sad face.
