Boy...time is moving so fast, and I am not getting anything done....FIRST off....let me say, I have not dropped off the face of the earth!! Thank you to all of you who have emailed me wondering about me.....I am fine....just super busy.....
but then again aren't we all?? I guess I am not doing so well at juggling things right now and need to work on
my time management skills....hahahaha
I have not forgotten the fact that I have not updated on my weight loss journey......I promise that is coming soon with recipes.....hopefully next week I will be caught up some and get back to normal......
Now....I want to show you a little surprise I received in the mail. A few weeks ago, I entered a giveaway at
New York Vintage Linens and was thrilled beyond compare when I received an email saying I had won. Seriously, this was right up my alley, and in two days time, I received this wonderful package of goodies!
Just look at this
adorable apron, all trimmed in red and perfect for displaying during the holiday season...I just love this.
Also included was this adorable white trimmed in red table topper, or small tablecloth...it is so pretty, I just love it. See all those pretty roses? That is a wonderful table runner, and it is ever so pretty. Included also was two pretty embroidered pillow cases....oh, happy day!
Here is a up close picture of the table runner and the details......I love it.....
And finally, this really pretty doily......this is really a nice size and very pretty.
here is a closeup of the details.....this package was perfect for me...because...well....you know I love red, and no question vintage linens are a passion of mine.....These goodies will be treasured for always! If you have not visited
New York Vintage linens, please do so, there are wonderful vintage things on display and I promise you won't be disappointed in your visit!
Thank you Carolyn for such a wonderful giveaway, I will treasure these goodies and they will have a great home!
This sweet little manger sits under my pink Christmas tree in my sewing room....in keeping with the spirit of the season, I wanted to be sure to include a Christmas vintage thingie!
Have a wonderful Vintage Thingie Thursday, I can hardly wait to visit and see all the wonderful things on display today....I will be out of pocket for most of Thursday, but I will stop by each one of your post later on during the day....just did not want you to think I had forgotten about you!! Have a great weekend.....

This is LaVoice and I am Suzanne's aunt. She is at work. She regrets there is a problem with Mr. Linkey. There is nothing she can do about it until she gets home from work Thursday morning. She has no idea what happened. She apologies for this mix up, but bear with her and try to understand these things will happen.
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfectly lovely surprise and just in time for Christmas too..beautiful goodies..LUCKY YOU!!
ReplyDeletei'll be back later to link in :)
What a great win! The vintage doily is lovely. Much work went into creating that. The leaves that are in the very center and near the edge are called Cluny Leaves after a french lace from the 1870s. I'll link in later too!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you won! Yes, you have been missed. Seems everyone is so busy...are we having fun???
ReplyDeleteLove your winning items, especially the apron.

Grrr! I don't like the new MckLinky time thingy - it does that on my Rednesday posts, too. It's 12:45 a.m., and I just can't stay up until 2:00 to post! LOL!
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful winnings - the apron is fab, and I like the table topper best. Your nativity looks like it doesn't have any broken pieces - good for you!

I'm LOVING that little red and white apron!
ReplyDeleteAlso, the little plastic nativity. I HAD one of those - - - got it when I was in grade school. For YEARS I put it out at Christmas time, it was a "tradition." Then a few years ago I looked for it, but couldn't find it. I'm afraid that in some INSANE moment I threw it out.
Very sad face.
Congrats! That little apron is perfect for the holiday season!
