This past trip to Colorado, I took a few new items to add to the decor. These are wonderful creations by shebrews and they happen to be her beautiful fabric collage art. I talked about them here, but now I want to show you where they now call home.
This adorable little framed work of art is in the kitchen. I added a small border of fabric around the piece so it would fit in the little frame nicely.
Here is another shot of the framed artwork...I love how it fits perfectly on top of the red cabinet.
This is the wonderful work of art I talked about HERE. This is now in the living room, beside the fireplace, at our cabin. At night, the bear light illuminates this piece and it is amazing to see. This by far is one of my favorite pieces of art I have ever owned.
A few weeks ago, I was fortunate enough to win a giveaway from Ann at Tin and Sparkle. This adorable vintage theme journal fits perfectly in my sewing room. Ann, I have decided to use this sweet little book to record my quilts in progress, quilts finished and fabric notes. It fits perfectly in with the decor of this room and I just love it!! Handmade gifts are always so special to me.
Both ladies are super talented in their crafts....I love it that my home is the new resting place for such wonderful art.
Hope you all have a great week......it is supposed to be hot here, so I think I'll try and find activities to keep me busy.....I have plenty of sewing to do if nothing else!

Love the artwork! I've got a busy week ahead including sewing, planning a tea party, planning a birthday party and scrapbooking.
ReplyDeleteThey look great anywhere you put them. Each lady did a very good job on the artwork.
ReplyDeleteThis is what makes a house a home--things from friends that make memories.
