I don't know how many are super excited with this new line of fabric from Moda that is coming out in April. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a couple of charm packs of Sherbet Pips. I am loving this fabric line. Sherbet Pips is sure to not sit on the shelves at your local quilt shops once it arrives.
Just look at this little girl, Oh, so sweet, and the colors are really great. I love the reds and gray fabrics in this pack.
I decided to lay some of these squares out in the snow this past week, tired of looking at all the white and ice and thought I needed a little cheer to look at.
Normally, I am not one to order a whole line of fabrics. I usually just find a couple of designs in a collection and that is all I want. Well, this is one line that I MUST have the entire collection, and have every plans to do so.
Aneela Hoey is the designer of this adorable new line by Moda, and I recently discovered she has a blog, she tells how this line came to be and I loved this so much. Click HERE to take you to her blog, look around at all the ADORABLE things made with her line of fabric.....You will really enjoy it, I know I did.

Suzanne...I am going there now...what cute stuff!!!
ReplyDeleteI am happy to know you are making a lap quilt for an "aunt". She does not make quilts but wants all of them.
ReplyDeleteI have been looking for the pips. That explains why I have not found it, it is not out! I am gonna check this out this weekend, ordering it early sounds like a good idea. I think this will not be around long. Thanks for the link.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love the vintage look of Moda!
ReplyDeleteI recently saw some packages of MODA pips in our local fabric store. I don't quilt but the fabrics made me want to. I love the idea of getting a whole set of fabric that's coordinated like this and already cut. This must make it easier to put the quilt pieces together.
ReplyDeleteI love these new fabrics. They're charming. Show us what you do with them when you make something.
Oh how sweet! I love fabric with a passion so I'll be sure to check out the line. Looks adorable.
ReplyDeleteThe doxie fabric is sooooo cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun you've been having......shopping for fabs online and finding such good ones.
ReplyDeleteLove this doxie fabric! You probably already know about the doxie fabric at Hancock Fabrics.

Love this idea. I have a stack of fabric from old skirts & tops that I don't wear but I love the fabric--hoping to make something out of them. I have a party directory on my blog--just started last night. Stop by and link up VTT if you like. Here's the link
