Wieners Roasting By The Open Fire

These two Wieners are most thankful for the cold weather and a fire in the fire place...they have not moved all day...well, Dora has not moved. She has laid on her side, rolled over and baked the other side all afternoon. They are most thankful!!

Sophie and Dora took up the prime chair in the living room, poor Bailey had to sit in my lap or under the covers today.....she does not mind, she is a long haired wiener and she says she has her winter coat on and will take a lap nap any day, or the very least, a fresh out of the dryer load of laundry will do nicely too!

I hope you had a wonderful lazy day like everyone around here had....it was different but sorta nice all at the same time.....the pups could not agree more!

  3. They are just too cute Suzanne! Years ago when I had a chihuahua, I came home from work to find her laying on the kitchen table under the air vent in the ceiling trying to keep warm! lol You see, I had just married and she was used to a fireplace and it was killing her. She did the same as yours girls only she would lay on the hearth of the fireplace!

    Happy Thanksgiving!

  5. Ours refuse to wear the sweaters. They wiggle right out of them. But you get a blanket out-----they are yours for the day/night!
We have a free-standing gas fireplace and they lay all around it-even under it. The thing they love best is the human lap!
    Love the pictures!

  17. One of my new neighbors has along haired doxie! But that pup did not like us at first! Then the kids went over to say hi! Smokey is the sweetest of our dogs. He is so friendly and Stella thinks she is the "Welcome Dog" Lady. Bandit just leads the bigger kids lead altho he is the venerable old man of this house! Your pups look so cozy! Spoiled too huh? Hee Hee Blessings to you Suzanne! Anne
