My favorite fall memory, just to be fair is when my kids were little my husband would bring home pumpkins for them to carve, it was a carving fest at the kitchen table always. Each child chose the same shape pumpkin each year....it was so predictable. Then we'd have to always take photos on the front porch with them lit up at night.....great times.
Good luck everyone.....I'll draw for a winner using Random Number Generator on the 15th and email the winner. Thanks again for stopping by and Happy Fall.
My favorite memory was each Halloween when we lived in Tennessee. It was a small, Mayberry-type town and my husband and I would dress up and sit in the porch swing and talk to the neighbors who were out on their porches as well for Trick or Treating. We were the goofy neighbors (because we dressed up) but they were all kind and our boys loved it!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fall memory is getting the kids ready for Halloween, they were always so excited to get dressed in their costumes. What a generous giveaway...Thank you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a generous give away Suzanne. My favorite Fall memory is of my father walking through my woods with his camera. He always visited in October.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fall memory is camping in New England with my dad and roasting chestnuts. It was wonderful!
ReplyDeleteMicki
Wow, what a lot of inspiration in one place! I loved taking the kids to pick out pumpkins when they were little - like yours, mine each had their own preference. The Girlchild always chose a small "roundy" one, and the Boychild always took one that "looks like Frankenstein's head"!
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome giveaway!!! My favorite fall memory was of my first Thanksgiving dinner that I cooked for my husband. It was in Florida so we were in shorts but I put lots of fall colors about to make it fall-ish.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fall memory was the first time we traveled to NC in October. It was so much fun to see the fall colors. My daughter was about 2 1/2 years old and she played in the leaves. Lots of fun pictures. Thanks for such a fabulous giveaway :-)
ReplyDeleteWhen my kids were little I use to make thier halloween costumes. We had fun picking out the pattern and the fabric. Now I do it for my grandkids.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fall memory is the year my mom made pecan pie for thanksgiving. I was looking forward to it all day. I finally got a piece and took a bite and it was horrible.
ReplyDeleteShe made black walnut pie instead of pecan. It's a memory that always makes me smile and always has my mom asking don't you know the difference between a pecan and a black walnut.
Thanx for the giveaway! ....and for opening my memory!!~~ I'm still trying to think of what would be my fave fall memory....there's so many!
ReplyDeleteGoing apple picking, or to the Pumpkin Patch to pick out our pumpkins...or back at home, carving them-- my little girls, ages 3+5, with no shirts on, so as to be able to reach way down in and get all the "pumpkin guts" out, and not mess up their clothes!....and then, once the faces were drawn on by them, and carved out by mommy or daddy, getting their pix taken, outside on the front porch with their lit up jack-o'-lanterns!... {They now are 23&25 yrs old!!~~So, I've got lots more fall memories since then!!}
My favorite fall event was my wedding day- almost 57 years ago.Two of my kids were also married in the fall
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely gifts! I haven't been by in a while, but have thought about you always. My favorite memory of Fall is going to the high school band competitions when my son was in school. The pride of knowing your child was performing before hundreds of people and doing something that you wish you had been able to do when you were young.
ReplyDeleteWhat a terrific give away. My favorite Fall memory is my wedding day. My husband and I were married on Sept. 20th....24 years ago. It was a perfect Fall day.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fall memory would be the hay rides we took our children on for Halloween's Trick or Treating. I remember the first year we used a cattle trailer that had ladder like sides so it wasn't enclosed but it still kept the children safe. We had every child in the community sitting on bales of hay all over that trailer!
ReplyDeleteWhen we pulled up to the first house, the couple was a little shaken. They thought something had happened to all the children because never had it been so late before they got their first trick or treater. You should have seen their eyes when we opened the gate to that cattle trailer and all those young ones piled off with their buckets in tow... :)
what a wonderful giveaway....my favorite fall memory is walking through crunchy leaves, smelling woodstoves, and feeling the crisp air in a small town when I was young.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great give away!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fall memory is picking apples with the kids when they were small.
Well, my only grand child was born Oct. 22. That's a pretty special day every fall!!! Thanks for the chance!!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh I love the fabric and patterns!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fall memory is making Halloween costumes for/with my children. We made a special trip to the fabric store, looked at pattern books together, selected fabrics and trims together, and brought home our loot. Then I'd fit the pattern to them, and they would "help" me make their costumes, freely giving me their advice :^) Sadly they are all grown up, but next year I will be making costumes for my grandchildren. It's going to be SO much fun. mary6850 at gmail.com
I just love the smell of fall and crunching the leaves under my feet!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fall memory is my husband and I going to an amusement park that was all decked out for halloween, and walking through the "haunted" forest. It's been the only fall tradition I have really had in my life!
ReplyDelete(unless you count raking leaves when I was a kid :p )
What a wonderful giveaway! I've never done anything with precut fabrics, so I'd love this! My favourite fall memories are the beginning of school - waiting for the bus in the crisp morning, and playing in the leaves after school in the afternoon.
ReplyDeleteltenhage@gmail.com
My favorite fall memory is going to the Pumpkin patch when my girls were quite young and watching them trying to carry pumkins almost as big as them. Love your pups - I have two mini long hairs too! I became a follower today!
ReplyDeleteHmmmm - well, I can't decide so I will share two favorite memories.
ReplyDeleteThe first one is one that I wasn't even present for. I worked on Saturdays when my five kids were little and my husband would make homemade donuts with them. My oldest would mix the batter, my second oldest would form the donuts, my husband would fry them, number three would lift them from the paper towels and put them in zip lock bags held by the two youngest, to shake in powdered sugar or cinnamon. I would get home in time to taste and clean up. The grownup kids still reminise about this!
My costume story is about the year I made five child sized crayon outfits and two for cabbage patch dolls. Our town has a halloween parade with prizes and I was entering them in the group category. Baby number 5 fell asleep on the way, so I was down to four. Baby number four got tired and bored in the parking lot and had to go back in the car with dad. Minimum for group was 3 and number 3 changed his mind right as the parade began. Dad grabbed him and my oldest ran to join the 1st graders. I followed in the parade with her kindergarten brother. The 1st grade blue crayon did not place. The kindergarten green crayon won 2nd place and gift certificates. He was too young to understand what happened, but the 1st grader was livid. This was our last halloween parade.
My favorite fall memory is riding in the hills with my father through golden leaved arches from aspen and tramping through bright red oak brush checking things out for the deer hunt. This was a special time for me to share with my father. Nola
ReplyDeleteI so enjoy visiting your blog! I just love it and have chosen you to receive the "ONE LOVELY BLOG AWARD!" I was honored with the award, and now I want to pass it on to you! Thank you for having such an interesting and beautiful blog!
ReplyDeleteLeticia
What a wondeful prize selection!! My best fall memories center around time spent with my children...leaf hunting, apple picking, Halloween prep.
ReplyDeleteJoan C

I got married in October, in October is the first child, in November the second, I am born in November. So... many memories. Thanks you for the chance!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the generous giveaway! I would love to be entered.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fall memory was when I was a child. I lived out in the boonies and we could not trick or trick so our community used the community center and lots of parents would volunteer to make and run games, contests, snacks, and a haunted house every year. I remember those Halloweens being so much fun that I didn't care that I didn't get to go door to door like all my friends in the city! They stopped doing the community center Halloween a long time ago, but I have great memories of it! Now that I'm an adult my favorite part of those memories is the community togetherness. I wish more "out in the boonies" communities were like that.
Blessings, Jessica
What a generous giveaway. Favorite fall memory is packing the kids up and going to the orchard to pick apples and then a lot of baking. Every time we ate an apple pie or bread, we talked about the 'orchard' day and smiled.
ReplyDeleteWOW a most generous giveaway - thank you for the opportunity! My favorite fall memory is jumping in piles of freshly raked (by my dad :D) leaves with my little brother :)
ReplyDeleteSandra (Canada) :)
My favorite Fall food is a pumpkin doughnut, hot and fresh, of course! Thanks for hosting a giveaway!
ReplyDeletelovely giveaway. Favourite memory? The leaves changing colours
ReplyDeleteI was married in the Fall, so I think that has to top anything else, but reading yours made me think of all that wonderful stuff when you're a kid, trick or treating, carving pumpkins, playing in the leaves, they are all wonderful memories.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory about the fall is taking walks with my dogs through the forest looking up at the colour trees and leaves falling. The smell of the crisp air and and sounds of the leaves and branches crunching underneath your shoes leaves such an undescribable feeling inside.
ReplyDeleteWhen my daughters were in Kindergarten and 3rd grade, we hosted a BYOP party - bring your own Pumpkin. There was a gutting station in the kitchen. Carving in the living room. Eyeball treats whenever anyone was hungry.
ReplyDeleteWow! I'd love to win your charm packs. I've become a Schnibble addict:) My favorite Fall memories is taking my son Trick or Treating. He so loved wearing costumes. One year he wore out the Fred Flinstone custome I made him before Halloween. I had to make a second one:) Then there was the Ninja Turtle year, the Tigger...... Thanks for reminding me of our wonderful times!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite memories of fall are the gorgeous purple colored mountains and the yellow to deep gold and orange trees. With a little nip in the air and a fresh breeze. I still enjoy carving pumpkins every few years, it's always fun to get together with friends for pumpkin carving.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Fall memories are playing in the leaf pile every year with my little brother right after dad raked them up.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fall memories revolve around our Halloween parties! I especially loved when they all played Funny Bones. I am also in love with your giveaway!!
ReplyDeleteI love fall, it's my favorite season. I always loved to carve and decorate pumpkins at school around this time.
ReplyDeleteMy fave memory is of my mom's pumpkin bread...warmed up with butter..mmmmmm....
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful giveaway! I surely can picture lots of yummy things made from these prizes!
ReplyDeleteI grew up in California until I was 14, so I had never experienced the turning of the seasons like we have here in New England. Every fall still reminds me of that first fall season here...the colors, the smells, the crisp air, the apples...a wonderful memory that I get to relive each year!
MGM
Your fall memory touched my heart. :o) Living in the country these past 4 years has enabled us to have some campfires and sit out under the stars together. That has become my favorite family fall memory. :o)
ReplyDeleteThank you for such a generous give a way!
Sincerely - Trish
I love the smell of leaves burning, because it reminds me of watching my father pile up leaves from our expansive yard and burning the piles. Peace and security!
ReplyDeleteshannoncarman at yahoo dot com
Fall nights in my area are wonderful for watching the stars and seeing the fall harvest moon. They seem so close and brilliant. Sharing that with each of my children was a time of joy, especially when they in turn have done the same with their children.
ReplyDeleteHoly moly, look at those charms! I LOVE charms! I have too many great memories of fall, one of which is seeing the leaves change color in my neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteSuch a generous giveaway -Thanks for the chance to win it!
ReplyDeleteMy favortie fall memory is taking my little boys to the pumpkin farm to pick their pumpkins. Our house rule is they can have any pumpkin they want as long as they can carry it to the car. They always try to get the biggest pumpkin they can carry.
Thanks for the chance in your great giveaway! We don't have 4 seasons here, so there's nothing special for us. I just love the colours of fall.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory happened on the way to an adult Halloween party. A friend who went with us had decided to dress up as a "street bum". He had purchased ill-fitting clothes from the Goodwill store, dirtyed up his face, and really looked the part.....so much so, that when we stopped in a store on the way to the party, the cashier didn't want to wait on him! We laughed hysterically all night; truly the best party we ever attended!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway.....I'd really enjoy winning this one!!! Thank you for the chance :-)
I have to say my favorite Fall memory would be quitting smoking. 7 years ago on Halloween I smoked my last cigarette and it was the best thing I've ever done for myself.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful and generous giveaway! Thank you!
What an AMAZING giveaway. I'm so excited! My favorite fall memory is from only just a few years ago, we lived in St. Louis. Once the weather began to cool off in the fall, my daughter and I would head outside for daily walks, just the two of us. We'd walk along the old neighborhoods surrounded by beautiful trees and step on all the leaves on the ground searching for the crunchiest one. And each time we'd find a really good crunchy pile my daughter would just laugh and laugh...you know, that wonderful toddler belly laugh of pure enjoyment. She's almost 4 now...and just the other day we walked to the park and crunched some leaves, but it will always make me think of St. Louis and just the 2 of us. :)
ReplyDelete~Teresa
we don't have fall here but I love the colors of fall!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance!

My favorite fall memory is actually more than one, as it is more of every year at Halloween we would decorate the house with my dad: fake spiderwebs, tombstones, scary ghosts, the whole nine yards. Of course, we also carved pumpkins, did trick or treating, and entered costume contests in the handmade costumes my stepmom made for us each year!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fall memory is Halloween in my childhood. My mom helped us get our costumes together, which were always homemade, and hoards of kids would be tramping through the neighborhoods gathering a pillowcase full of candy. I now live in a rural area and never get trick-or-treaters, but I always buy candy just in case!
ReplyDeleteMy Favourite Autumn memories are the falling coloured leaves, piling up on the ground, and the beautiful cool nights.:-)
ReplyDeletesandangels1945@hotmail.com
Wow! What a generous giveaway! My favortie fall memory is the day our youngest son was born. He was born Oct. 19th. Of course I have fond memories of my dh carving pumpkins with all the kids. He actually got his hands down inside the pumpkins and made quite a mess. LOL Good memories, especially now that all the kids are grown. Have a good day. Winona
ReplyDeletemy favorite fall memory was when my brother was five or six. His birthday is the day before Halloween so for his birthday party he invited all his classmates over and I got to make up themed games, and snacks, and goodie bags. It's the only year he wanted me to be a part and we had so much fun. I can't wait ot have halloween parties for my girls when they are a little older!
ReplyDeleteI hope I win! My favorite fall memory is making homemade apple pie with my dad!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fall memory is going to my three son' football games each year. Oh how I miss that!! They are all now in their 30's. Life really does go by way too fast.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory of fall is taking my babies to the pumpkin patch for the first time!! They looked so cute next to the pumpkins!!!Thanks for the givesaway!
ReplyDeleteWonderfully generous giveaway! Thank you for the chance!
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely fabrics and patterns! Thanks for hosting a giveaway
ReplyDeleteThe leaves crunching beneath our feet, the smells of fresh bread & pumpkin pie baking and the warmth of family, especially at Thanksgiving. Happy Fall =)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fall memory is the birth of my first daughter who will be 18 next month. I remember her being all small and warm and soft and I couldn't stop running my fingers over her tiny little hand. She is by far my best fall memory:)
ReplyDeleteAnn Flowers

My all-time favorite fall memory was raking the leaves in front of my parents house, and falling asleep in the pile of leaves. Cozing down into a pile of leaves while smellin the smells of fall and listening to the birds... i'll never forget it!
ReplyDeleteSuzanne, My favorite fall memories are the ones that include dressing up my son in homemade Halloween costumes that I made for him. He was a great Jack O Lantern one year.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a great opportunity to win such nice things.

Anna
My favorite fall memory is getting married - on Oct. 12th - and spending our honeymoon in the Blue Ridge Mountains during the peak weekend for fall color! I love charm packs and would love to win these - thanks for the chance to participate! :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing to do in Fall is burn leaves , jump in the piles and go on a hay ride then have hot apple cider!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fall memory is when my oldest threw some pumpkin seeds out in a ditch and my step-father calling (the following year) to tell us to pick his pumpkin up. It was so huge my husband had to bring it home.
ReplyDeleteWe have a tradition every October for our anniversary to start the weekend with a pumpkin hunt at the local orchards and stop in for the onsite cider served frozen, juiced or hot (kansas weather is freaky)we split a sack of apple fritters and then come home to decorate the pumpkins. We end the night with smores over a fire and a bottle of grande spumante in front of the open fire pit.
ReplyDeleteWow! What a great giveaway! I love fall. It is my favorite time of the year. No matter what there are always changes in store.
ReplyDeleteI love the crisp clear nights and the smell of a fire in the chimmeny. Always brings fall to mind.
juels51@yahoo.com
My favourite fall memories are from hunting trips when my kids were young. We'd camp out and have a lot of fun, hanging out around a campfire, picking berries and other bushy things. Really peaceful. Thanks for a chance at your fabulous giveaway!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Fall memory is one halloween where my mom made a light-up Christmas tree costume for me, and other ones for my sister. I remember going to a "costume contest bonfire" event. That's the first time I remember drinking hot spiced cider, and I have it every year since. It just has the perfect Fall-time feeling.

kicking leaves with my kids can't be beat!!!
ReplyDeletethanx for such a good giveaway :o)
Australians dont seem to celebrate the change of seasons the same way other people do. we dont have Halloween either. So my only autumn memory is probably of my mother screaming at us to wear jackets or we'd "die of pneumonia". Ahhhhh memories.
ReplyDeleteIt'd still be awesome to win this adorable load of goodies.
My favorite fall memory is my great grandmother living with us and making costumes for us with my mom. Hot apple cider to drink while she was stitiching.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the LOVELY giveaway!
my favorite fall memory is the birthday from my youngest daughter in October 1980. She was a very cute baby and now, 30 years old, she`s a nice and clever Lady.
ReplyDeleteI`m from Germany and love your fabulous Fall Giveaway! Thank you
Wow - what an extraordinary giveaway! I loved carving Halloween pumpkins - in one of them we'd put a set of false teeth (my dad is a dentist); on another an old Raggedy Ann wig. And then of course the toasted seeds. Yum!
ReplyDeleteOh... wath a beautiful collection of charm packs! If I win one of thesein this tough competition, this will be my best fall memory. I think that fall 09 holds one of my newer fond memries: Planning for Elly Sienkiwicz's Appliqué Academy 2010. This was a long time dream comming true for me. A trip of a lifetime! :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Fall memory is when my children were small and how excited they were about playing in the leaves, getting pumpkins to carve and Halloween coming.
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway hope my name gets drawn! My favourite fall memory is raking leaves with my husband so my three little girls could jump in the leaf pile. They are all grown up now, but look forward to watching my grandkids do the same this year.
ReplyDeleteI can't say that I have one specific memory but I love to walk on the trails behind our house in the fall. The colours are beautiful and photos turn out spectacular. Thanks for the chance to win some awesome prizes! micheltimms@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteWow, you have some great fabric selections there. And, the patterns...simply wonderful. Thank you for your generosity. My favorite fall memory is visiting Vermont in the fall with my husband and seeing the gorgeous yellow, red and orange leaves. We don't get that where I live so it was a real treat.
ReplyDeleteWhat a very generous giveaway! My favorite fall memory is of camping one year in October. The colorful leaves on the trees and ground, the crisp air, the campfire...everything was just perfect that weekend! Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteI love giveaways! My favorite fall memory was when my mom made my siblings and I rake leaves. By the time we had the pile all made, we began jumping in them and you couldn't even tell that anyone had raked!
ReplyDeletekramerk15@peacocks.uiu.edu
That is so sweet about fitting into an empty space in your heart. Love your blog and I'm going to subscribe (also the dog pics). My memory is so clear. My son just turned 18 on 9/28 and lately I've been going thru all these years past in my head. When he was about 7 we were hiking on a cool Fall morning in a GA state park and came to a peak overlooking the mountain. We were sitting on this rock watching the hawks fly above us. It was misty and cold and amazing. Now I'm lucky if I can get him to walk a mile! Happy Fall!!
ReplyDeleteI think favorite Fall memory for me is remembering back to the day when it was "safe" to go trick or treating into the wee hours using pillow cases for candy. Wow we brought home some loot...four of us guys equates to more than enough candy don't you think?! LOL
ReplyDeleteOK...noticed how cold it was there on your side bar when I went to become a follower. One of he reasons I had to become a follower is because of yours sweet pooches! OMG....they are adorable and many years ago I owned one...named Heidi. I have to come back here....oh and hopes of winning the charms as I have a Schnibble Addiction...visit my blog!!
I come from a large family of 7 and we a big yard. Every fall we would rake up the leaves into huge piles. After we jumped and froliced in the piles my father would burn the leaves. I will never forget that great smell! You can't burn leaves anymore but I will never forget how much fun us kids had during this time. Your giveaway is so fantastic. I'll be REALLY hoping to be the lucky winner. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteJumping in the leaf pile! It was a family event - mom & dad would rake and the 5 of us would jump in it - again & again! Great giveaway - thanks.
ReplyDeleteCharm packs are lovely, and I am sure the patterns will come in handy too! Thanks for offering such a great prize.
ReplyDeleteAs for the favorite memory: That has to be taking the kids to the pumpkin farm. There little eyes always lit up knowing they were going to get top pick out a pumpkin. Funny part is they were sure it was the biggest ever, and usually was pretty small as that was all they could carry!

One of my favorite fall memories was the day my little sister was born 17 years ago. =)
ReplyDeleteThanks for this amazing giveaway and have a wonderful weekend!
eli_green22 at yahoo dot com dot br
Favorite fall memory ... hard to pick just one, well there was the year my mother made me a black and gold flapper dress for Halloween. My pre-teen mind thought it to be the most eloquent dress I had ever owned. I was terribly disappointed to learn it was NOT appropriate wear for Sunday School. Those were the days!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful giveaway Suzanne! I have so many favorite fall memories that it is hard to choose. I love remembering how excited my kids would get when we would go to the pumpkin patch to pick out pumpkins, then bring them home and "try" to carve them. Always so much fun! Now that the kids are all adults, we have an annual fall harvest/pumpkin carving party. This year it will be on October 23rd, which is also a full moon night! Nothing like sitting by the outdoor fire with the moon shining through the trees. I'll definitely post pictures and blog about it afterward!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fall memory was going to the apple butter festival with my family when I was a child. My parents used to like to take rides on Sundays and see where we would end up. One year we found an apple butter festival in the country and attended for several years. I can still smell that wonderful scent of the apple butter cooking in large kettles over wood fires.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory was going to the falls for a picnic with my family.
ReplyDeleteI tried to bring back that memory by trekking through the woods to the falls, last weekend. I am still hurting from walking too far, lol.
Love the fabrics!
Debbie
What a great give away! Thanks for a chance to win!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fall memory is our annual trips to Door County,WI over Columbus Day to camp with friends, hike and enjoy the fall colors. We have experienced everything from snow to 80 degrees. But the colors are always the best.
My favorite fall memory is the hayride we would take at the end of my grandpa's fall bar-be-que. We were a noisy bunch of kids and adults.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fall memory is my wedding day.
ReplyDeleteI think it'll soon be replaced though. Last year we carved pumpkins. I baked the seeds from two and the third we dumped out onto the dirt. This year we looked outside and there is a large pumpkin plant growing where the seeds were. It's so fun to go outside every day and explore the plant with my kids. It's late in the season so I don't think we'll actually see a pumpkin this year but it's still exciting to watch it grow.
Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory is raking leaves at the neighbor's house into a huge pile and jumping into them from the deck.
Bailey_Burwell05@hotmail.com
I love carmel apples. Every fall I like to maintain the memory of walking through the woods, hearing the crunch of the leaves and smelling all the fall scents in the air. Except the smell of a skunk!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your generous giveaway. I am also a fairly new quilter and those charm squares look so appealing to me. Wouldn't it be wonderful to win? Oh yeah! And the patterns also. I have looked at those patterns so many times at different shops. Wonderful.

I am learning how to take chances and try some new things. Wish me lots of luck and many prayers! Thanks sweet Coloradolady! Anne
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fall memory is from about 7 years ago. It was the last apple-picking trip my uncle (who raised me) was able to be a part of. It was a great day, crisp cool weather with the sun shining, beautiful blue sky and my whole family together. We lost him the following year to lung cancer, so I treasure that memory in my heart.

My favorite fall memory is my granny bringing bags of candy corn when she came to visit just before Halloween. Lovely giveaway.
ReplyDeleteLB12@gmail.com
My favorite fall memory comes from the years we lived in Japan. We had three huge ginko trees in the yard. I loved the trees in every season, but fall was my favorite. The leaves turn brilliant yellow, and it is like little bits of fractured sunshine all over the yard. I can still see my children running through those leaves, shrieking with laughter.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a chance to win your wonderful giveaway!
My favorite fall memory is simple - getting lost in a corn maze with my college roommates.
ReplyDeletemeganbkohlman@gmail.com
My favorite memory of fall is going into the mountains to look at the fall foliage!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fall memory is my honeymoon 11 years ago.
ReplyDeleteGreat and generous giveaway! I would enter the fall fair with my sewing for 4-H and win ribbons.
ReplyDeleteWhat a generous giveaway! I really enjoyed apple picking during the fall a couple years ago with my siblings and all our kids. It was a fun wonderful experience gathering apples and enjoying the pumpkin patch.
ReplyDeleteHello!
ReplyDeleteIt seems I'm having problems to post a comment, I hope this one will go through...
one of my many favourite memories of fall is the day I went for my scan, 31st October 2008, and they told me it was "a very healthy little witch"!
My favorite memory was trick or treating in an early winter storm with my mother pushing my baby sister in a stroller. Fun for me ..not so for my mother!
ReplyDeleteOh my!!! I do hope that I win this!!! :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fall memory is the smell of pumpkin and spices and the cooking and baking from growing up... Yum!!!
Wow, what a very nice and generous giveaway you are having. Thanks for giving me a chance to win.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory is when we would go camping with our 3 children in the mountains during fall.
WOW! What an amazingly generous giveaway! My favorite fall memory is when my daughter was small (she's 27 now) we used to go apple picking, then to an awesome farm to pick up cornstalks and pumpkins. Then we'd go home and decorate, carve the pumpkins and toast the seeds. Happy Fall!!
ReplyDeletebjleh(at)comcast(dot)net
When my little boys were 2 and 3, my Mom and Dad bought 2 gigantic pumpkins out in the country - they were taller than my children. Somehow they got them into the car and hauled them over to us. My children's eyes were like saucers. Mine too!

Thanks very much.
my fall memory is the neighbor dressing up and terrorizing the neighborhood kids...I was one of them, and never really liked monsters at Halloween ever since...that memory stuck
ReplyDeleteIt is spring now in Australia, although I do have an Autumn memory of a school camp in 1973 to Bright. I remember walking down a country road, with towering trees, branches overhead, the leaves turning every shade from green to gold to brown. The only photos I have from this camp are in black and white, so do not show the richness of colour that is trapped in my memory. Watching leaves change would have to be one of the best memories and first awareness of colour.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this chance - your newest bestest blogging buddy - bronny

One of my favorite memories is when my boys were small. We moved frequently and we found ourselves living in the same community I did as a child, the boys attending the same elementary school I did. I felt competent for the first time in my life - I was 18.

My favorite fall memory is the day that 42 years ago, the love of my life told me he loved me. That is a day that will live in my heart forever.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fall memory is definitely last year before Halloween, carving pumpkins for the first time with my daughter. She was only 1 and a half then, but her eyes lit up, and she watched, and helped scoop out the "uckies," and used to ask in her baby way to go out & look at them every night when my husband or I lit them! Looking forward so much to doing them again this year, when she is a year older & can appreciate & participate the process even more! Amber in AK samiqblue7@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteMy all-time favorite fall memory was taking our older daughter to the pumpkin patch for the first time. She was 19 months old and we were about to have our second daughter, so it was special mommy and firstborn time. Anyways, she somehow got in her head that when you see a pumpkin, you kiss it...who knows? But we didn't leave that patch until most all of the pumpkins had been graced with her kisses!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful giveaway! email in profile

ReplyDeleteMy favourite memory of the season has to be the quilt tour I took 2 years ago to New England. The colours were breathtaking. As I live in the UK, we do get lovely foliage colours here too, but nothing like I saw there.
We always have chili on Halloween night because it could cook all day and you can eat it when you want. Then we would dress the kids and get ready to go out. Now we have grandkids and our favorite time out with them is to go to the pumpkin farm and let them pick their pumpkins and then we come home and help them carve their own designs. Love the Charm Packs. jgamble(at)comcast(dot)net

Wow! What a generous prize!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite fall memory is apple picking with my parents and brothers. They tasted so good when they were only moments off the tree. My dad always joked that the owner should weigh the kids coming and going as well as the baskets. We never left with less than a bushel of apples, and had to return for more before the season was out.
Great Giveaway! My favorite memory is when I was a kid, my little sister and I would spend an evening at the kitchen table carving our pumpkins and once we were finished we would set them on the fireplace and light it up with a candle inside and turn off all the lights.

I come from a very small town(pop. 80). We (my 2 cousins and I) would pretty much trick or treat every house in town. One year my cousins had grown a huge pumpkin. My uncle carved it, and somehow, attached to the hood of their car. We drove around town with that great big Jack 'O Lantern on the car. It was so much fun for us kids!
ReplyDeleteI love your taste in charm packs! Something I would have picked myself.
Wow, impressive giveaway! My favorite fall memory is a funny one: when I was pregnant and suddenly had a craving for a full Thanksgiving dinner. Even though I worked until 5pm, I still managed to grocery shop, cook a full Thanksgiving meal and have it on the table by 8pm.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fall memory was the day my oldest was born on Halloween morning.
ReplyDeletemy favorite fall memory is the new one we make each year. we start with the grand kids coming over and decorating the house for Halloween, then we make carmel apples, carve pumpkins, bake pumpkin bread and on and on until Christmas, there are so many grins and giggles that fill this house, and each year, though we follow the same path, leaves a new wonderful memory for us all.
ReplyDeleteWow! Beautiful charms! My favourite memory as a child is looking out the front window every day and watching the colours come down the hillside behind the farm. Early in fall the fog comes and the hill disappears until late morning so watching it burn off is a treat! I also have great memories of taking my little ones to the pumpkin patch when we lived in BC. Pictures of the hill this year are on my (new) blog if you are interested!

My favorite fall memory is not even really a memory, it is a smell that triggers fall. Just the smell of the leaves and the crispness of the breeze. Fall is my favorite season until spring comes and then it is spring until fall is here again. Not winter or summer! Ha!
ReplyDeleteShawna
When I think of Halloween I think of all the times my youngest son decorated the entire yard for Halloween. We had lots of Halloween lights and he would cover our shrubs, the trees, and around the windows and doors. Our house was so festive. I miss him especially at Halloween (He died in an accident when he was 21). Such great memories. Thanks for asking.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity to participate in your giveaway - very generous!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite fall memory is our wedding in late October. The day we were married in southern Ontario, Canada was warm, sunny and breezy. A much warmer autumn day than it would usually be, but it was beautiful with the fall leaf colours and the flowers still in bloom. So fall always reminds me of my wedding day and my wonderful husband!
I grew up in Northern NY where the fall air is as crisp as the apples, the fields are filled with pumpkins and the leaves rustle with every step--Now I live in AZ and every fall I miss that but I do get up there to visit my 90 year old dad
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite memories is our cruise to eastern Canada from New York to see the fall colours along the St Lawrence river and Maritime Provinces.
