Christmas Cheer Giveaway Week 5 Winner Announced

You know the ole' saying, "All good things have to come to an end." I have never much cared for that phrase. When I am having a good time, I hate for the fun to end. That is just what the last five weeks have been for me, great fun.

I think the best part of my Holiday giveaway was not what I was offering to you the readers, but what you each gave in your heartfelt comments and memories of the holidays. I have read every single comment to each post and enjoyed them very much. Thank you so much for your support and contribution to this First Holiday Event here on my blog......this was so much fun, I can hardly wait until next year!

Now, I need to announce the last winner.....I used random.org to choose the winner. I am so glad I found that website, because I had no idea at the start of this event that the turn-out would be so great. It would have taken me forever to come up with a winner if I had drawn a name out of a hat! This week total number of entries at the close of the giveaway was 209 entries, I added 180 for each of you who have my button or have blogged about my giveaway. That made the total number of entries 389.

Thanks to all who returned every week and sharing things that means the most in your lives. You have really blessed us with your words.

I learned Bo is a Texan also, and I have to say, she will be most pleased at the cool Colorado weather in the summertime. It is nice to escape the triple digit heat of Texas in the summertime for a much cooler climate. Maybe she will think of us all while she sips hot chocolate on the deck at the cabin this summer, relaxing and enjoying God's Country! :)
