Simple Sunday

Christmas is a time when you get homesick - even when you're home.
~Carol Nelson

***My grandparents lived on Mistletoe Drive. My fondest memories of Christmas are at 313 Mistletoe Drive. There could never be a place I miss more on this earth than this one place. Especially at Christmas.

  1. I totally understand your feelings. My grandparents have been gone a long time but I still remember all the special times in their homes.

Now as grandparents we are making our own special memories. Such is life.

    Have a wonderful Christmas.

    Hugs and Christmas wishes...Jeanne

  3. Funny how we remember meanigful addresses. My grandparents lived at 148 Price Street. They died when I was a child, and yet I miss them.

  11. They say you can't go home again and I guess it's true. I live just two miles from the place I was born and raised, and I could go back, but it has been sold and changed. I can only go back in my precious memories. As long as my parents lived there, my sisters and I always went back to share the holidays there.

  12. I remember phone numbers to some of my older relatives that passed away. I used to always call them and the number is still in my head. It must be because it was so comforting in some way! Have a wonderful Christmas!

  13. Some of my most precious memories are the time I shared with my grandparents. It was a time during hard times, but also good times.

Sometimes someone says something really small, and it's like it fits into this empty space in your heart!

Thank you for stopping by and leaving your thoughts here, they really mean a lot to me!
