I Heart Rustic And Worn Looking Things

....I really do.....but as much as I love rustic and worn, sometimes you just need to freshen things up a bit!

This past weekend we did just that.....and let me tell you in the Texas 100 plus degree heat...it was no easy task. This next weekend will no doubt involve staining..which I have already been informed I will be doing. That is fine, I can handle that....wonder when I should mention to my husband that while I will be staining....he will be hauling flagstone????

More on this project to come.......if I make it through the next weekend!!

  4. I don't envy you at all! I know what it feels like because I am just west of you and this heat is deadly! Be careful, and drink plenty of water, take breaks and share that work!!!!

  10. Ugghhh. Isn't is miserable out there? I can usually stand it until about 11-ish, but then I run in to the A/C. Don't work too hard, and given the choice between staining and hauling rock, I'll be with you staining. Lane

Sometimes someone says something really small, and it's like it fits into this empty space in your heart!

Thank you for stopping by and leaving your thoughts here, they really mean a lot to me!
